The Dirty Grind Independent Artist Community is very proud to present The Frytown Toughs as they break down the walls of our separate worlds by live video streaming from their show in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
The following is from The Wild West Steampunk Convention, where they were one of the featured acts, sharing the stage with Steam Powered Giraffe:
“The Frytown Toughs were born out of Doc Holliday’s musical saloon show in Tombstone, Arizona. They have performed across this great state from Bisbee to Kingman, and everywhere in between. Their speciality: Piano! Singing! Music! Mayhem! And plenty of shenanigans.
Retro/alternate timeline ragtime piano and singing, covering such great hits as “Red River Valley“, “Maple Leaf Rag“, “Minnie The Moocher” and “Stairway To Heaven“. Really. Everything from Stephen Stinking Foster and Jimmy Rodgers to The Beatles, Greenday, 4 Non Blondes. ELO, and LMFAO.
Imagine a medley of “Party Rock Anthem” and “Call Me Maybe” as it might have been performed 130 years ago, and you’ll start to get an idea of some of what THE FRYTOWN TOUGHS are all about.”
