Sassy, soulful, irreverent, original, acoustic, and always a bit naughty: this is Ren Enberg in a nutshell. Her velvety voice and engaging personality highlight her singing/songwriting style: bluesy and smooth, with a rich and dynamic emotional range.

4pm The Matthew Show

Whether it’s a song about drinking and driving in Heaven, or an unconventional love song, Matthew sings about basically whatever he feels like singing about. His shows are funny, entertaining, unpredictable and a guaranteed good time!

5pm Effinjay

Frogg was a vocal jazz minor at college, while Jay studied piano for 14 years; together , as singer/songwriters, they have produced a comprehensive range of heartfelt and memorable melodies and poetically lyrical songs.

6pm Twostep Spiritweaver

From Blues to Bluegrass, Beatles to Bach, Grateful Dead to Van Morrison and all the music inbetween, Twostep Spiritweaver weaves his way through all of it. He may play 30 minutes of pure blues followed by 30 minutes of sweet ballads and love songs, or he might just start playing to see where the music takes him.

7pm The Vinnie Show

Singing current favourites to Classic Rock & Pop: those songs you grew up with and loved, songs you’ve newly discovered and some trending now… plus ORIGINALS – all acoustically, Vinnie pours his heart and soul into every song and Live performance… hoping to give something to each person in the audience. The Vinnie Show is all about having fun together!

1pm Wald Schridde

As “The One-Man Renaissance Band”, Wald creates layered, multi-track recordings of medieval and renaissance music: sing and play folk songs, traditional tunes and early music on guitar, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, recorders, mandolin, and penny whistle.

2pm Rosedrop Rust

Rosedrop plays sensitive ballads, classic rock and roll, unusual covers, unique songs from personal friends, heartfelt originals accompanied by live guitar or piano. He’s also known for his provocative poems he likes to throw in the mix when the mood strikes!

3pm Shannon Oherlihy

Shannon creates contemporary folk music with rich vocals and songs that resonate with a strong sense of the human experience. She started playing when she was nine years old and never stopped – since 2008 she has been performing in Second Life. Her warm, earnest voice is reminiscent of Joan Baez and Natalie Merchant.

4pm Lluis Indigo

Lluis Garcia is a self taught musician who has been experimenting with music since he was 7 years old and performing since he was 14. Many know him as creator and builder in SL, but in 2017 he turned his creative focus to his real passion: music. Being from Barcelona, he loves to sing flamenco style called “rumba”, but also creates relaxing and deep sounds.

5pm Etherian Kamaboko

Etherian Kamaboko performs live acoustic/electric Roots, Blues, Americana, Classic Rock, Folk style of music. He sings and plays 6 &12 string acoustic, Resonator Slide, and electric guitar with harmonica with keyboard drum emulator. A little of this and a whole lotta that!

6pm Dimivan Ludwig

DimiVan Ludwig is a veteran pro, performing in Second Life since 2006, and is renown for his naughty humor during his performances. No one is safe during a Dimi show, and everyone leaves with a smile on their face. Couple his hilarious humor with an amazing voice and a superb ability to play the guitar and piano, you will certainly leave a DimiVan Ludwig show wanting more!

7pm Senjata Witt

Steady as a heartbeat, that’s how her guitar style’s been described: rhythmic, percussive, and punctual, with a voice like rose petals steeped in bourbon. Folk, Blues, Traditional and original music, served up in her own special style!

8pm David Csiszer

David Csiszer is a vocalist/multi-instrumentalist artist playing acoustic-centered music flavored with different genres, sometimes splashing his electric guitar, bass, drums, keys, and banjo into the mix.

After many tribulations we are delighted to announce the sixth edition of Carnival of the Arts, complete with the reopening of our Gallery – and the Featured Artist for this occasion is the incredible Bryn Oh, accompanied by a long lineup of regular artists and guest musicians! Spread the news far and wide, don’t make any programs for the weekend and come to The Dirty Grind IAC for a special experience 🎊

1pm Lexus Melodie

Lexus Melodie is a British singer-songwriter whose performances combine great music, warmth of personality and a sense of humor in equal quantities.

2pm Naga Flow

Naga Flow is a creatively driven Musician in SL and RL. Writer, poet, artist, performance artist, cartoonist, surfer, and self confessed comic cartoon character who endeavors and aspires to keep himself away from oil / acrylics painting.

3pm Capos Calderwood

Capos describes his style like so: “People from the Northeast consider it country; people from Texas consider it folk; people from Nashville won’t even take the shrink wrap off the CD… I describe it as ‘Home cooked Texas style with humor for dessert'”. His love of music and performing spans decades even if RL derailed him a bit, so let curiosity get the better of you and come to take a listen 🙂

4pm Raspbury Rearwin

Staying as far below the radar as he can, he’ll Ninja surprise you with his sultry smooth take on the songs you forgot you loved and a few you never heard before. Gripping originals and covers you won’t recognize make for an hour of fun and aural pleasure 🙂

5pm Grace McDunnough

“A modern bard with sass and soul to spare, with an old guitar, rich lyrics and powerfully raw vocals that will leave your heart pounding.”
Grace McDunnough is a singer/songwriter and virtual world experience developer; she is dedicated to embracing immersive online platforms to deliver unique listener experiences.

6pm Jed Luckless

Jed Luckless is NYC area musician who performs original music and streams his shows in Second Life. His improvisational style has earned him the nickname Jammin’ Jed and this spontaneity makes every performance a unique experience for the listener.

7pm Jamba Losangeles

Jamba LosAngeles performs music that beautifully haunts your heart with a smile. He plays a twelve string acoustic guitar and harmonica. His music has been heard regularly in Second Life since the beginning of SL time. He covers songs that you have heard before, but in a unique way!

8pm Gypsy Dhrua

Gypsy Dhrua is known by her peers as ” The Queen of the parodies ” , and with good reason. She offers a very entertaining show that will leave you laughing and dancing along!

Thunderfoot Lorefield brings a highly eclectic set, slicing through genres like a warm knife through butter. His years of experience in rock, country, folk and gospel are evident in his song choices, and in his light-hearted delivery. Each show is unique, and most shows will have something never heard at a TL show before, as his repertoire and arrangements remain fluid and surprising.

Phemie has been a singer-songwriter since 1993 and has loved playing in Second Life since 2007. Along with her RL performing career, she has enjoyed playing to people from all over the world here in this warm and supportive environment of SL music. Her songs are introspective piano based tunes.

Friday September 7th – The Dirty Grind’s in-house shows are back!

Happy Friday everyone! The wait is finally over: Lisa and Ian worked hard on the renovations, so a spanking new venue awaits you and, since they never do things half-assed, they are throwing a party so big it’ll last three days, with aallll our extremely talented musicians entertaining you for hours on end 🎶 Also, let’s not forget the incredible art exhibition by Silas Merlin and, of course, the field trips!

Sean began playing guitar and writing songs at 13. In 2008, he entered Second Life as Strum Diesel, sharing his craft in a live unpredictable setting, where listeners can hear what Sean is really all about.
